Paper accepted by the journal "ACM Transactions on Modeling and Computer Simulation (TOMACS)"

The paper "Using (Not-so) Large Language Models to Generate Simulation Models in a Formal DSL: A Study on Reaction Networks", co-authored by Justin N. Kreikemeyer, Miłosz Jankowski, Pia Wilsdorf, and Adelinde M. Uhrmacher, has been accepted for publication by the journal ACM Transactions on Modeling and Computer Simulation (TOMACS) for the special issue on PADS 2025. It demonstrates and evaluates how open-weights large language models with few parameters may be used to translate from natural language to formal simulation models.

This research has received funding from the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft in the context of the Project GrEASE 320435134 (https://gepris.dfg.de/gepris/projekt/320435134).
