Philipp Andelfinger and Justin Kreikemeyer visited the 38th ACM SIGSIM Conference on Principles of Advanced Discrete Simulation in Atlanta, GA, USA.
They presented their papers:
- "Towards Learning Stochastic Population Models by Gradient Descent" (J. Kreikemeyer, P. Andelfinger, A. Uhrmacher)
and
- "Follow the Leader: Alternating CPU/GPU Computations in PDES" (R. Marotta, A.Pellegrini and P. Andelfinger).
Adelinde Uhrmacher and Mosi-Alumni Jan Himmelspach received the "Test of Time Award" of ACM SIGSIM PADS for their paper
"A component-based simulation layer for JAMES"
originally presented at the 18th PADS in 2004, Kufstein, Austria.
